Planning guide

Understand your electricity usage.

A practical checklist for your conversation with URJATECH.

Your electricity bill usually records billing dates, billed units and the total amount payable. Share these details with the team rather than relying on the amount alone.

If your consumption changes through the year, collect more than one bill. Business operating hours and appliance usage can also help explain your requirements.

The technical team will review your information before recommending a solar capacity.

A little more clarity

Read the bill in context

Your records are a starting point for the technical conversation. Keep the original bill available so the team can review the information you share.

Match the units to the billing period

Note the start and end dates alongside the billed units. A record for a longer period should not be described as one month without explaining its dates. If the bill is unclear, bring it to the discussion.

Keep amount and consumption separate

The payable amount is useful background, while recorded units describe consumption over the billing period. Do not use an unapproved conversion from bill amount to system capacity.

Explain patterns and changes

List business hours, household changes, seasonal farm activity or industrial shifts where relevant. If the premises have several electricity accounts, identify which records belong to the property being assessed.

Share records without filling the gaps

If a value is unavailable, say so. Do not invent monthly units or a system size to complete the planner. The team can discuss the information still needed before making a recommendation.
